This is the most commonly used task page.


Your current, past and future Activities or tasks as well as your internet website enquires will be displayed on the to Do page.

Understanding your To Do List

Your To Do List is a list of all activities that have been allocated to you.

  • Activities to do in the future are displayed Blue activities.
  • Overdue activities – Red activities – you need to Mark as Done or move to today or another date in the future.

New Activity


You can create Activities & Tasks anywhere in the program, when creating an Activity make sure that you attach it to a Listing and a person. This will link the Activity with both the person in your database as well as the Listing.

Print 

Mark the Activities that you want and use the print button to create your task list report.


Date range

The default from to display date range is -1 month to 7 days. You can change the default date range for your To Do List in Settings > Personalise tab


Understanding your To Do List

  • Activities to do in the future are displayed Blue activities.
  • Activities to do today are Green
  • Overdue activities – Red activities – you need to Mark as Done or move to today or another date in the future.

Filter

Filter by Activity type - Click on the column heading 3 dots and select the Filter option then select the Activity types that you want to filter by.

You can use the  filter by Activity type, listing or Contact.

Tools

Click on the Tools button to open the To Do List toolbar 

This will show the advanced To Do List toolbar options

Done 

It can be easy to get behind in managing your Activities - Use the To Do List > Filters and use the Done button to mark multiple Activities as Done in one simple step.

Select Overdue activities and then click on the Done button to bulk mark as completed.

Delete

The Delete button used to delete an Activity.

Spam

Use the Spam button to mark this Contact and their email address as spam.

Export /Import

The Export button is used to create an Outlook ICS file of selected Activities that you can import into your Outlook.

Select the Activities that you want to export, and then click on the Export button this will create and download a file called OSL-Activity.ics file


How to Import Appointments Using an ICS (iCalendar) File

1. Drag and Drop Import

Once you have your ICS file, drag and drop it directly onto your Outlook Calendar to import all events at once.

2. Open Microsoft Outlook.

Go to File > Open & Export > Import/Export.

Choose Import an iCalendar (.ics) or vCalendar file and click Next.

Browse and select your ICS file.

Click Import to add the appointments to your calendar.


Show eNews & Finder

Because many Finder emails and eNews emails may have been sent, the Activities created are not displayed by default. If you want to see these click on the Show eNew & Finder checkbox.


When creating an Activity attach it to the correct Person and or Listing and assign to the correct agent in your office. This will link the Activity with both the person in your database as well as the Listing.

Agent Live users all Activities are automatically attached to the Agent

An Appointment is an Activity with a Start Time. You can switch an Activity from an Appointment and back to a Task but adding/removing the Start time.
