Select and open your Sale and then click on the transactions tab.

This tab shows you all of the transactions for this sale.

Sale transactions are created when you Receipt money for the sale and Release the Sale.

Important Receipt any Commission due just like you would the sale deposit, the program will auto detect that the Commission payment is not a Trust transaction.


Use the Receipt button to Receipt the Sale Deposit or Commission money for a Sale. 

Editing a transaction

If you need to make a change to a receipt, select the Sale > Transactions tab select your transaction and click on the Edit button

  • Using the Receipt/Withdrawal buttons on a Sale is an optional setting Companies > Settings – Sales tab

Deleting a transaction

Sometimes you may need to delete a sale transaction. Entered the incorrect date , incorrect amount or

even applied a transaction to the wrong sale…don’t worry it happens!

Select the transaction on the Sale > Transactions tab

Click the Delete button

Confirm the deletion by Clicking Yes

Using this option will make sure that the Deposit balance on the sale stays correct.

The selected transaction will be now deleted from the transactions list.


You can edit or delete most transactions up until the transaction has been reconciled in the the trust

account.


You cannot delete a Transaction that has been Reconciled in your Trust account 

Example:  You created a deposit transaction but the deposit never went through your trust account, then change the sale deposit to zero and use the Invoice button to invoice the solicitor for the outstanding commission.

Then when you receive the funds Receipt as normal against the sale.
The program will automictically know that it is Commission money and will be paid directly into the trading account.
