When you have received all of the funds for a Sale and all of the sale conditions have been met, you can then Release the Sale. The Release button will automatically flash. telling you that you can Release the Sale.

Release a Sale
A Released Sale or Releasing a Sale is not a legal term, it is a term we use to indicate that a Sale is ready to be paid into your trading account. Open your Sale and if the release button is enabled it means that you can now Release your Sale.
Before you can pay your Agents of other companies the monies from a Sale must be Released.
The Release button is automatic and funds will stay in Trust depending on how you have set up your Trust Account.
- New Zealand - After 10 days in trust
- Australia - after sale settlement date
- Other Countries - after settlement date
Before you can Release a Sale you must have received all of the commission money due on a sale.
Early Release
When agreed between the parties you may use the Early release button.

You may agree to withdraw funds from your Trust account before the sale settlement date.
Sometimes called a Section 27 approval in Australia.
Before you try and Early release a Sale;
- A Sale must be Unconditional before you can Early Release
- You must have the appropriate authority to release the Funds
Early Release letter
You can use your own Letter Templates or use the program Early Release Letter
Open the Sales and select the Letters button.
And you want to you can create your own Letter template in the Templates - Letters section.
The Early Release process works exactly the same as a normal Sale Release, it just allows you to do it before the settlement date or before the deposit has been in trust for 10 days or before the sale Settlement date.
Un Release a Sale
Sometimes you may have to Un Release a Sale

If you need to Un Release a Sale
Find and open the Released Sale and Click on the UnRelease button. This will set the Sale back to Unconditional and Remove the Sale Release transactions.
On the sale Docs tab the first Release settlement statement will show with a line through.
You can't Unrelease a Sale where you have already paid an Agent on the Sale. You would have to reverse the Agent payment before trying to Unrelease.
